The Great Boston Molasses Catastrophe
On a blustery afternoon in that fateful year, disaster befell Boston. A massive tank filled with sticky, sweet molasses ruptured sending a tidal wave of the thick liquid flowing through the streets. The impact was catastrophic, crushing buildings and entombing residents in a gooey mire. Scores of people were killed, and many more suffered. The ci
